The Konix Multi-system Games

Here are the know games that were either in development for the Konix Multi-system or had been planed to be. Some have screen shots from magazines and some have videos provided with kind permission of Jon Dean (the guy that actually filmed them). Please don't distribute or re-produce these videos as they remain Jon Dean's Copyright.

Vendetta - System 3

Vendetta

Take Last Ninja - remove the Ninja and put a Bruce Willis look alike in the lead roll - also throw in some driving and you probably had quite an enjoyable game. I've never seen a KMS screen shot or video for this game and I don't know how far development actually got on it. I presume it was planned, but not implemented. The pictures below are from the Commodore C64 version. I've heard talk of a 16 bit version, however I've not seen any screen shots from one....

Again though, another isometric game in the launch line-up. From a gamers and potential consumer's point of view I'd have liked to have seen just one of each sort of game. There was some repetition. A Final Fight or Double Dragon style beat'em up in the launch line-up would have been nice or Street Fighter 2 which came a little later (1991) than the initial launch window of 1989-1990 but I think the KMS would have been more than capable of doing that sort of game.

The only images I could find were from the C64 version. As you can see, it's really just Last Ninja with different clothes on. There was a driving level which may have been an interesting distraction. As proved by the Konix version of Last Ninja, the graphics for Vendetta may have ended up being a little more embellished but probably wouldn't have looked dramatically different.
